The Gender Supportive Wear (GSW) Program provides free new and used gender-affirming wear to trans and gender-variant youth ages 14-25 who reside in BC, Canada and are unable to attain these garments otherwise.

This program gets most of our binders from gc2b, so it’s helpful if you know your size when you reach out. Check out their sizing guide here: https://www.gc2b.co/pages/sizing.  If they don’t have the correct size currently, you will be placed on a waitlist.

Apply below or reach out to gsw@qmunity.ca if you have questions or need support.

FAQs

What is Gender Supportive Wear?

Gender Supportive Wear is any garment that makes a person more affirmed in their gender identity. For their program, this includes bras, breastforms, binders, packers, packing underwear, and trans tape.

Who Qualifies to access the Gender Supportive Wear program?

The Gender Affirming Wear Program ( Formerly the Bra, Binder, and Breast Form Program) provides free new and used gender-affirming chest and bottom-wear to trans and gender-diverse youth 25 and under in BC Canada who are unable to attain these garments otherwise.

What products are available?

The Gender Supportive Wear Program carry half tank binders, pocket bras, breastforms, binders, packers, packing underwear, and trans tape. Because of the volume of orders this program receives, they stick to standard solid colours like white, black, and grey for binders, and have limited colour options for all other Gender Supportive Wear products

How long does it take for me to receive my items once I fill out the form?

It takes an average of 8-9 weeks for people to receive items after filling out the form, but they always aim to fill orders faster when possible!

Do you have discreet shipping?

Yes! All packages come in plain envelopes or boxes, and do not contain any logos or other markers of where the package is from, other than the return address. Gender Supportive Wear Program always ask for what name and address the package should go to before sending out orders so that the packages are received with the utmost discretion and safety.

If for safety reasons you cannot receive this package at your home address, we are happy to send the GSW items to a trusted person or location for you!

Can I order GSW on behalf of a youth that I know?

Absolutely! Just fill out the form and address it accordingly. You’ll need the youth’s name, a safe address to send the package to, the item you are looking to get them, and their size for that item to fill out the form for them.

For more information about chest health for trans and gender-variant folks, check out the I <3 My Chest booklet!

The Gender Supportive Wear program also accepts donations of worn binders, pocket bras, and breast forms in good shape. They are no longer accepting regular bras at this time.
